Where OptionAgent trades

Brokers

OptionAgent works with your own brokerage account. What it can do depends on the broker — here is where each one stands.

Available now

Interactive Brokers

Live trading, automatic imports and signals. The full app. Strategies run live on your own account from your own server, orders you approve go straight to the broker, positions and fills stream back as they happen, and your trade history imports on its own. Two-factor sign-in and your approval on every engine login.

Live trading coming

TastyTrade

Signals and trade import now. Follow any library strategy by signal and trade it in your TastyTrade account, and import your trade history from a TastyTrade export file for the journal and the analysis. The live engine connection — strategies running on your account, orders on your approval — is in development.

Coming soon

Schwab

Signals now. Signals work at Schwab the way they work anywhere: you get the order and place it yourself. Trade import and live trading at Schwab are planned.

Any broker

Signals don’t need a connection.

A signal is the full order — legs, limit, how long it’s valid, then the profit target and the stop to set once you’re filled — with the reference’s capital, size and the most the trade can lose, so you can scale it to your own account. You place it at whichever broker you use; nothing is placed for you. How signals work →

Your account stays yours

OptionAgent never holds your funds. Your account, your money and your positions stay with your broker, a third party not affiliated with OptionAgent.

Nothing behind your back

Orders the app drafts go out on your approval. Strategies you switch on trade within the limits you set, and every fill reaches you as it happens.
